Zumback Residence

Delicately set upon the natural landscape, this residence was conceived to turn the privileged view into the protagonist of the living experience. The architecture explores the topography of the site and establishes a direct relationship with the horizon, creating spaces that invite contemplation and togetherness.

The volumetric composition is marked by pure, horizontal lines. The upper floor emerges as a large suspended volume, projecting over the social area and reinforcing the sense of lightness and sophistication. The wide cantilevers not only define the project's aesthetic identity but also provide efficient shading, contributing to the thermal comfort of the interiors.

On the ground floor, the extensive glazed surfaces remove the barriers between inside and outside, allowing natural light to flood the spaces and revealing the beauty of the landscape at different moments of the day. The social area opens fully to the garden and the pool, fostering an integrated way of living where architecture, nature and leisure coexist in perfect harmony.

The materiality was chosen to convey elegance and warmth. The combination of light planes, the texture of natural wood and discreet structural elements creates a balance between contemporary sophistication and comfort. Every detail was designed to celebrate the simplicity of the forms and the authenticity of the materials.

The landscaping follows this approach with subtle interventions, respecting the existing vegetation and reinforcing the sense of belonging to the place. Tropical species, linear paths and broad lawns lead the eye towards the immensity of the view, turning the outdoor spaces into natural extensions of the residence.

More than a house, this project represents a contemporary refuge: a place where architecture integrates with the mountain with sensibility, offering privacy, comfort and a permanent connection with nature.
