Nunes Residence

Set amid the lush forest landscape, this residence was conceived to establish a harmonious connection between architecture and nature. The volumetric composition favours striking horizontal lines, creating a sense of lightness and sophistication that integrates with the contours of the site.

The project is organised around a large central courtyard with a reflecting pool and swimming pool, which become the heart of the residence and foster interaction between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The large glazed surfaces widen the intake of natural light, provide permanent panoramic views and reinforce the sense of continuity between the spaces.

The generous cantilevers and large-span slabs lend architectural identity to the whole, while creating shaded areas that increase thermal comfort. Natural elements, such as wood cladding and mineral textures, add warmth and elegance to the contemporary language.

The social area was planned to offer unique experiences of togetherness, contemplation and leisure, while the private rooms ensure exclusivity and privacy, always connected to the landscape. The result is a timeless, sophisticated and functional architecture, where every detail was carefully considered to enhance well-being and the experience of living in perfect tune with nature.
